Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2025  |  Last updated: January 1, 2025

DeepForge is a free browser game in which you guide a lava mite through volcanic fissure formations deep underground. This policy sets out what we collect when you venture into the forge.

1. Information We Collect

The forge runs hot, but our data collection runs cold. The only information we may receive is:

2. How We Use Your Information

We use technical data solely to keep the forge operational, seal cracks in the code, and understand how deep players typically burrow. We do not serve advertisements, build behavioural profiles, or sell data to third parties.

3. Local Storage and Cookies

Your best descent is held in local browser storage only. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently — we hold no copy on any server.

4. Third-Party Services

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts via a standard browser HTTP request. No other external services are involved in the delivery of this game.

5. Children's Privacy

DeepForge contains no violent content, no gambling mechanics, and no in-app purchases. The lava mite simply hardens in place when it contacts a fissure wall. Suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

6. Data Retention

Server log files, where they exist, are kept only as long as operationally necessary and are then deleted. Locally stored gameplay data remains on your device and is governed entirely by your own browser settings.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold. Because we collect minimal information, such requests may have limited practical scope.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical precautions to protect any data we handle. No internet-based method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy at any time. When we do, we update the date shown above. Continuing to play after a revision means you accept the updated terms.

10. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please reach us through the contact form available on our website.
